The Sacred Sea
the Sacred Sea
is older than
all the time
here spent by Man
deeper than
the deepest thought
the Sacred Sea
to each has brought
a hint of all
the times long gone
and times to come
where we'll belong...
the Sacred Sea
is purity
from very deep
the way to be
like our souls
in spirit formed
flowing through
our egos born
into this world
before we leave
we feel its breath
in times we weave
the patterns left
when we return
to the place
for which we yearn
to the place
that's in between
when awake
and when we dream...

oh, i really like this!!! there's a lot in it, the 'sacred sea' could also be pure consciousness, out of which everything arises. or 'prima materia' which corresponds exactly with the "cosmic dark age" of the universe, right after big bang.

Thank you for your very insightful comment. Actually my original inspiration for 'The Sacred Sea' was Lake Baikal in Siberia - the oldest, deepest and largest (by volume) lake in the world...I have a recurring belief that my previous life was spent close to this sacred body of water....

I know you were saying far more in this peace but I love the sentiment about the sacred sea. I guess it's clear I have this thing about it & the moon by now.;)
