Alone in my haze
Alone in my haze all day..
Floating through the universe.
Hooray! What's left to say?
Lets lift
and drift away..
Sinking slow into the sky,
sailing towards the ancient sun..
Serene scenes
here I go..
ever so high...
Glancing down upon the dream,
dancing to the cosmic theme..
Galactic grooves,
sounds that soothe the sad souls..
Falling deep into the dark abyss..
Traveling at the speed of light,
Oh please
toss me in the breeze
ever so free..

I enjoyed reading the poem and thought it is well written. However, I thought there were occasional words or phrases that seemed to jar with the otherwise excellent writing....for example,"Hooray", "oh please", and "ever so"....I felt these didn't quite match the tone you set.
