Gaia

From the void
 was confusion and its domain
where nothing certain marked
and all was in that malestrom cloud
that order to be created and destroyed

From the chaos
science and faith taking the first steps
the DNA, green shoots of living
for all imagined Gods
was their a hand to shape the time

Answers to all? is a question thats mimed
that alien force only seen by the blind
dust that will choke when the hourglass turned
the universe its gates are never closed
form and substance are transposed

A million million, or blink of an eye
not some cold deserted moon
a warm and cosy living room
stars that blink through hemispheres
we travelled a long way in dark light years
 
Volcano spews and then erupts
the mantle shakes with the earthquake
the lot that we have cast
something to save us from ourselves
and Gaia sad and said enoughs enough
