A Quest
I’ve tried and tried, cried, strived to reach her inside, her heart,
where the mysteries hide, reside, incomparable delicacies
for a wandering scribe, her portfolio her dimension is under control but by whom?
is the quandary of the man in utter tune, with her heart and her soul,
he knows how though to mine the gold, that gleams with dreams, and with her bountiful
reservoir of glory and words, words that were spoken, some, the Angels heard,
some, the demons lurched, but could not grasp or take what the conquerer took,
well he did not take, because he loves her so! so he left with his prize in tow, her !
the beauty, the glamour, mystique, serendipity null, the waters were warm and pristine
where they swam and adored the adoration of the heavens above
that smiled on them when they swam together in ecstasy and primeval love.
They were like the love that lit like the dove, sublime, entwined,
where wispy arms of stardust charm, where beams of light reflect,
from Venus her delight, her majesty,
with wings of lace, the lovers were gone, together, and without a trace;
or could that be them, they together, in that haze of suns distant, but near,
can’t you see? they are eternity, made by the creator of realms unseen,
some though can be seen in the heart and soul of all who dream,
and hope, and love;. . . and love, . . .
