Wired Wrong
When I was born
I came out into the world wrong
No one noticed the difference
Nature’s production line spat me out
Before checking the quality
Misfiring neurones
Trying to connect the dots
A confused mind
Looking through normal eyes
I didn’t understand the world
In a way I still don’t
I always felt strange
An outsider amongst the crowd
Seemed to be walking against the tide
Just struggling to be
Stumbled through the years
Pretending to be normal
Even the diagnosis gave no clarity
Made me think my life was a lie
I try to work it out
But my senses seem dyslexic
All the feeling is mixed up
Just like my life
I came out into the world wrong
No one noticed the difference
Nature’s production line spat me out
Before checking the quality
Misfiring neurones
Trying to connect the dots
A confused mind
Looking through normal eyes
I didn’t understand the world
In a way I still don’t
I always felt strange
An outsider amongst the crowd
Seemed to be walking against the tide
Just struggling to be
Stumbled through the years
Pretending to be normal
Even the diagnosis gave no clarity
Made me think my life was a lie
I try to work it out
But my senses seem dyslexic
All the feeling is mixed up
Just like my life
