Attempt at the English Sapphic form in the style of Swinburne.
Note that the poem has a mistake on the last line; the trochee and dactyl are the wrong way around.

Thanks for your interest ... note that I made a mess of it in the last line. I'm still thinking about how to fix it but I like what I've produced.
As to 'English' Sapphic form ... there is lots of debate about how Swinburne's sapphic's aren't proper sapphics; I used the word English to acknowledge that debate (in the hope of not getting dragged into it).
