Author's Note
I haven't written many Japanese haikus. Years ago, I evolved my own takeoff under the theme JaMento Haiku, which uses a Jamaican Mento rhythm over three lines of text. I will share more on that later. For now, I'm finally getting my feet wet in the dew of 17.
