Still Hanging on.
I am me, a lonely leaf.
The last leaf hanging on the tree.
All the other leaves turned colors, and scattered away.
But green am I, and here to stay.
The seasons changed,
Summer to fall to winter,
They're all gone.
And I still hold on.
I am me, the strong leaf.
I know my way, I know my place.
I've met mother nature face to face.
I smile at her with much grace.
The wind and rain have come my way.
But I am strong and here to stay.
The other leaves have fallen and gone.
But I am me, I still hold on.
The frost has come, the bitter cold,
I'm feeling tired, and feeling old.
The season of my life is gone,
But I'm still here, still hanging on.
