Where are you O God
Whose back has been turned
for I am looking
But I do not see your face
I am seeking
But I cannot find your presence
Where are you O God
Where are you O God
Whose back has been turned
For I am waiting to hear you speak
But I do not notice a sound
I am listening for your voice
But I do not recognize your word
Where are you O God
Where are you my dear child
For all I see is your back
Turn to me
So that you may see my face
And you may hear my word
The sight of your eyes have been blurred
Go and cleanse your face
And return to my word

A beautiful poem debicting our relationship with God.He is always there but often we cannot feel His prescence but like you say in that last verse,He is always there waiting for us to look up instead of down!
