Sympathy for the devil

Life is rareley as simple as it seems

I govern the things that haunt mens dreams

I stood on the hill smiling at his loss

As the son of god was nailed to a cross

I stormed the beaches at Normandy

The nights templar waged a war on me

I walked through the crowd and stood by the lake

As witches were drowned and burned at the stake

They worshipped me and craved power in return

Instead i just stood there and watched them burn

Ive strolled through feilds of heroic deceased

While their freinds and family take joy their at peace

I emerged from the blast as Hiroshima was decimated

I laughed in hysterics as henrys wives were decapitated

I am the blackness in all mens hearts

I am the reason world wars start

The greatest trick i pulled in my infernal abyss

Was convincing the world i didnt exist

In their foolishness some may say

That every dark night brings a new day

But day is temporary, night is nearer yet

The brightest light casts the darkest syllouette

Death holds no suprises for me

Hell is another life yet to be

But do not judge me its in my nature to be bad

Feel sympathy for the devil

And never make me mad
