A Dream of Shadows

Counting stones I linger in the pensive shadows of yesteryear
The grueling hours elongated by the suffering of oracles
The behemoth rises on the horizon and blots out the sun
A harbinger of dueling giants bring forth the eclipse
These dying gardens beg for rebirth and from ashen ground the stones are formed
Mournful dew on rotted trees
The tears of giants, lonely in their lowly trials
A pilgrimage of forgotten woe and still I count here to and fro
