By the way your eyes move/ From Lips to Eyes
Eyes to Lips/ The wish to listen and
Engage, is mixed/ With the wish
To engage in a kiss.
So how to tell/ When to take
Initiative?
Well if you stop to ponder it's already too late
Don't make that mistake
Go touch neck, cheek/ Kiss deep/ Taste Lips
Heavenly.
That first kiss, Passionate embrace
Where seconds of Lust enflame an endless Desire
And electric charges/ Tingle
From Lips
To
Finger-tips.
At the break of embrace
A smile in the Eyes
On Lips
Disregarded caution
Worthwhile
Who knows?
Perhaps
This excitement initial
This time
Will last?

well done. the flicking from eyes to lips and vice versa image was very clear in the beginning from your cutting the pauses with slashes. i've only seen odd punctuation used so effectively (making it part of the poem) with one other poet here and the sweet excitement here is inescapable. i am happy to have come across this as well... thanks for the read and welcome to DU.
