Reverberating

the Sun is on the ocean glistening
as I am writing...are you listening?
do you hear the air in motion
reverberating by the ocean?

the Moon has disappeared, it's vanished
lunar goddess to Sun banished
stars will be sparkling in the night...
away from town and all the light

mystified yet still we're breathing
always coming, always leaving
always wondering, always feeling
always seeking what's appealing

days are short and winter's coming
nights are long there's so much fun in
every moment we're together
mind to heart and soul the tether

words keep tumbling and cascading
always bright and never fading
like sunlight on the ocean glistening
