Seasons of you
You let your fingertips delicately trace
over the freshly bloomed flowers I have
grown for you in my heart,
oh what a feeling this is
Spring
I've always been afraid of the water
but with the ocean behind your lips
I long for a swim, let me in
so I can take a dip inside
Summer
I've always loved the leaves that slowly
spiral to the ground, but I love the
chocolate in your eyes that swirl and
melt together in a perfect harmony
of bliss more
Fall
My heart was ice cold before you came along
who could have known you had the remedy
just beneath your fingertips
Winter
