Glimpse across waters blue
Taking in autumnal hues
Basking in such glorious sun
Thinking of what’s come and gone
Holding tight to small palm
Standing in a piece of calm
On the brink of epiphany
Standing there, just you and me.

"On the brink of epiphany." I particularly love that line, but this short poem is terrific. It goes great with the small pic you've chosen for yourself, holding the child's hand. Excellent!
