Swimming
I couldn't take it anymore
the pain in my heart
simply wouldn't go
i had to end it
i had to make it disappear
You were the only thing that i wanted
but i couldn't bare the thought
of being a burden to you
always keeping you
from realizing your dreams
so i ended it
i ended both your pain and mine
What people say won't matter
in the end, it was my life to take
you and i were blessed
with time to enjoy each other
but we knew that soon
we'd have to say
our goodbye
'Cause deep inside we know
our joy wouldn't last
Darling, i laid my body down
and i let the water
wash away my sorrow
i let it drown my pain
and end my suffering
tell the world that
i'll be swimming to the afterlife
the pain in my heart
simply wouldn't go
i had to end it
i had to make it disappear
You were the only thing that i wanted
but i couldn't bare the thought
of being a burden to you
always keeping you
from realizing your dreams
so i ended it
i ended both your pain and mine
What people say won't matter
in the end, it was my life to take
you and i were blessed
with time to enjoy each other
but we knew that soon
we'd have to say
our goodbye
'Cause deep inside we know
our joy wouldn't last
Darling, i laid my body down
and i let the water
wash away my sorrow
i let it drown my pain
and end my suffering
tell the world that
i'll be swimming to the afterlife
