Among The Willow Branches
There was no pond when you came here
you have stood and your tears have pooled
now I stand by though summer may call
choosing the site as most suited
You are the willow bending over the pond
and just as time's appointments are meaningless
to you, I'd be your close correspondant
but forgive me if I obtrude, understand when I recede
I choose the site most suited, or it chooses me
and chained by honesty where we belong
we commence to compliment the scene as one
