Last Time
I’ll get dressed up
And put my make-up on
Even fix my hair
And leave before dawn
I’ll smile sweetly
Laugh at you’re jokes
You were always so funny
I think I miss that the most
As you talk, I’ll look for the last time
The one I once use to see
Its been so long
Since your eyes have looked at me
The spark is still there
A fire ready to reignite
Memories flood my mind
My feelings I have to fight
You’ve made it clear
And though it hurts like hell
I am still so happy
And wish you both well
So many mixed emotions
Tears later to be spilled
My feelings leave me empty
Again, never to be filled
We walk out together
A simple smile is always my lie
You don’t know it yet
But its the last time I’ll kiss you goodbye
And put my make-up on
Even fix my hair
And leave before dawn
I’ll smile sweetly
Laugh at you’re jokes
You were always so funny
I think I miss that the most
As you talk, I’ll look for the last time
The one I once use to see
Its been so long
Since your eyes have looked at me
The spark is still there
A fire ready to reignite
Memories flood my mind
My feelings I have to fight
You’ve made it clear
And though it hurts like hell
I am still so happy
And wish you both well
So many mixed emotions
Tears later to be spilled
My feelings leave me empty
Again, never to be filled
We walk out together
A simple smile is always my lie
You don’t know it yet
But its the last time I’ll kiss you goodbye
