Smiling Death
From the land of the plague,
A prophecy so vague,
Written on the grave,
Of heroes once brave,
Death came calling,
So the demons came crawling,
Spewing their putrid breath,
Granting a smiling death,
The bodies are fed to flames,
Their existence is going to be the same,
They shall wear a final grin,
When they breath in the infernal sin,
From the cradle child shall smile in the pit,
Breathing in the toxic demon's gaseous spit,
Skeletal grins adorning the rotting sick,
They pray for death to be quick,
Unwilling they receive a funeral pyre,
For plague dies in the fire,
Yet on it spreads,
Leaving in its wake smiling dead
A prophecy so vague,
Written on the grave,
Of heroes once brave,
Death came calling,
So the demons came crawling,
Spewing their putrid breath,
Granting a smiling death,
The bodies are fed to flames,
Their existence is going to be the same,
They shall wear a final grin,
When they breath in the infernal sin,
From the cradle child shall smile in the pit,
Breathing in the toxic demon's gaseous spit,
Skeletal grins adorning the rotting sick,
They pray for death to be quick,
Unwilling they receive a funeral pyre,
For plague dies in the fire,
Yet on it spreads,
Leaving in its wake smiling dead
