You
you have become my muse, my voice, my inspiration
Once
you were my dreams, my desires, my life
You
you loved me, you believed me, you wanted me
Once
you lied to me, you hurt me, you decieved me
You
you will never know how much I suffer
Once
you promised me you would always be here
You
you have become even more important to my heart
Once
you destroyed my belief in my abilities
You
you have given me more than you could ever know
Once
you left me all alone

You are much more gentle and graceful than I usually am. If I didn't have such horrible memories and psychological damage from my ex-boyfriend, I believe I could form a beautiful poem like this, but maybe not. You are very gifted. I hate to plug myself, but please read,"To My Ex-Boyfriend" by me and tell me what you think. I'd really like your opinion.

hey, I just read your poem. honestly I found it very,very funny. but i know that usually behind humor,most of us hide a deeper pain. the poem "my inspiration" was written to help me better understand my feelings about a man i am still deeply in love with. he has broken my heart,(of course,why else would i be sitting here writing at 1:28 in the a.m.)but along with that he has provided me with a an entire new approach to writing, i think the same could be said for your poem.i enjoyed it very much and will make an effort to check out some more of your work. p.s. thanks for the compliment, i'm flattered
