Realization
in the embrace of the trees
and the mountains
rain coming down
like celestial fountains
dripping and splashing
and soaking the ground
no one's alone
there's life all around
exchanging the air
we breathe in and out
with the green beings
who turn it about
carbon dioxide
for oxygen please
a supplication
to all of the trees
a bird in the forest
makes a loud sound
mycelium's growing
just underground
microbes in bedrock
microbes in me
we're all related
while coming to be

Thanks PR...I shot the background one recent rainy morning in nearby forest....the music is by Kevin MacCleod who creates copyright free music freely available to anyone...by the way that isn't an amanita blanket but a photo of amanita muscaria which grows every year close by...I just put myself on top of one...

All those mushrooms in the mist sound amazing, I wish I could sit on a magic mushroom lol, I saw some mushrooms here over the summer but they were not very fancy, looked like supermarket ones.. I think the real magic mushrooms grow in the tropics, don't they, but they look like amanita ones?

I'm a bit of a mushroom buff...the most abundant mushroom season is in full swing here in the coastal rainforest and I love taking photos ...the amanita muscaria (red and white) usually fruit here in November...as for psylocibyn (magic mushrooms) in the wild they grow practically everywhere, not solely in the tropics...the mostly cultivated cubensis type is originally from southern Mexico...a great excuse to be in the woods, camera in hand...I love being in the woods...
