Music: The Life Force of Us
The rhythm, runs through our veins;
Music has been alive for centuries, since our ancestors lived.
When the best hits us, we can’t help but dance;
Music is our energy, we’ll jump and prance.
The Africans dance, to the beat of the drums;
The music just flows through them, like water in a rush.
The Amerindians dance, and celebrate with nature;
The yell of the people, singing praises to their savior.
Music helps us socialize, when words have no meaning;
Persons only listen, when u can relate with what their feeling.
The only way to know their thoughts is for them to explain themselves;
But listening to what they like, makes an even bigger difference.
Music is much more than just entertainment;
It’s an expression of ourselves;
It’s the comforting voice of someone singing a lullaby;
While your child is in sweet slumber;
Music is the life force of us humans;
The one thing that gets us on our feet;
It brings people together;
It binds us forever.
