Angel (Before Her Time)
I never knew, I could miss you this much
Your leaving took me by surprise
I couldn’t see it then, but now I finally realize
And you... were my saving grace
I pray forgiveness
So God will let me take your place
An angel before her time
When I look out my window
I wish I could turn back the hands
It’s a prison that no one understands
I guess it true, only the good die young
It’s not the petals, but things I didn’t hold that stung
And you... (and you) were my saving grace
I pray forgiveness
So God will let me take your place
An angel before her time
(Before your time)
The world doesn’t have to go the heaven to see your smile
Sacrifice, are in the gifts we leave behind
You said, she made life all worth while
(Instrumental)
And you... (and you) are my saving grace
And for you....
I pray forgiveness, (forgiveness)
So God will let me take your place
To take your place
And you...
An angel before her time
I never knew... I could miss you this much...
Your leaving took me by surprise
