Trying to heal

Holding on so tightly to what we had  
I’m tryna tie a knot on my past and keep those past feelings in the past
My thoughts are dumb high all I get is a combination of you, you, and more you.
As I try to shift my thoughts all I Come up with is writing and music two of my favorite things but that all fades cause all I do is write about you and music just gets me in my feelings about you.
I’m stuck like chuck and in the mist of a rut I’m going in and out of my head trying to escape you but.
Your words were lies and you tried but all in all I wish I could forget you.
So excuse me if I don’t wanna talk or reply to your messages you can keep the txt messages and phone calls.
Cause I’m not over you I put on a good game I know but let’s keep it real for a minute:
I get a message my heart skips a beat I hear your voice and get this lump in my throat the thought of you still excites me and though I can no longer smell or hear you I see you everywhere.
