Starry Sky
I wonder as I stare up at the magical stars above me,
My place of reflection as I pray to
clearly see
I've always said your heart was so sweet and truly pure,
The tragic romantic, a mad heart alike, I'm so very sure
Never to waste such passion in places so unworthy,
The type to make love under a million stars so otherworldly
More than lust alone would linger in one to have you,
A soul in which a girl easily falls in love with to be true
Tonight do I sit and stare to wish upon a single star,
Left longing all while you look to the same sky from afar
More than our naked bodies beneath them to be known,
A touch, a kiss, two yearning souls and minds interwoven
Oh do I wish you were here just so I could then see,
If finding love under the sky is just as I thought it to be
My place of reflection as I pray to
clearly see
I've always said your heart was so sweet and truly pure,
The tragic romantic, a mad heart alike, I'm so very sure
Never to waste such passion in places so unworthy,
The type to make love under a million stars so otherworldly
More than lust alone would linger in one to have you,
A soul in which a girl easily falls in love with to be true
Tonight do I sit and stare to wish upon a single star,
Left longing all while you look to the same sky from afar
More than our naked bodies beneath them to be known,
A touch, a kiss, two yearning souls and minds interwoven
Oh do I wish you were here just so I could then see,
If finding love under the sky is just as I thought it to be
