Centipede with Broken Legs

She's already dead
Just still in her body
Lost her mind
While she's still walking

Slithering in crawl
Not knowing at all
Wax brain drips in fall
Belted neck and buckled knees

Limbs hanging from trees
Lost in her mind
No knowing at all
Concept of killing time

Precious life so rare
Unbelievable
To embrace that we are living!
Bored

Center impedes upon the edge
Not knowing where each begins
Middle of the end
Sentience in shock

She continues to walk
Hunted prey to Time
Vestigial appendages to snake
Wandering her mind

I'm lost inside her head
Forgotten in obsession
She's already dead
Concept of killing time so precious

Author's Note
I was watching the movie Hostiles. A character in it, a woman, sees her whole family killed. There's a line later, "she's already gone."
Inspired me to write this.
But i like to think there's alot of little nuisances and some word plays so anyone can take anything they want from this.
