Won't you stop clinging
It's a gross habit

Those mistakes won't ever leave
and time after time you repeat-
"Oh but I've learned, I swear
...I'll never do it again."

Well it isn't enough
You're just as feeble as before
No amount of self
dependence
discovery
disdain
will change this

I'm done waiting for the big apology
Forgiveness is my only cacoethes
Let me know it's okay
Let us be whole again

I want that out of body embrace.
