found it in silence
i have held it in my arms
the day i met you
the last few drops of sanity
driping droping
all over the vacuum of my mind
i have held it, or maybe i was already letting go
at a snap of a finger
i found it in silence
turbulent uproaring
i was scared to let go
of the past lives and songs
but now i can hear the sea
over the days halcyon
quiescent violence
electrifying dreams
at night i step out of the pavement lines
and in the songs i sing now
i learn new choreographies
that i found in silence
the day i met you
the last few drops of sanity
driping droping
all over the vacuum of my mind
i have held it, or maybe i was already letting go
at a snap of a finger
i found it in silence
turbulent uproaring
i was scared to let go
of the past lives and songs
but now i can hear the sea
over the days halcyon
quiescent violence
electrifying dreams
at night i step out of the pavement lines
and in the songs i sing now
i learn new choreographies
that i found in silence
