Untitled (Shakes)
How did we arrive at a place where we have no love for each other
No compassion
No empathy
The refigerator is empty
And COLD
Letting go of the handle
No matter how many times we've Been to the alter
Why are we still broken?
Sing praises
Shouting loud
Being uplifted and only He can see
Did someone brush his calling off of me by a casually touch?
When will love arise again ?
I've sacrificed more than I wanted to
This Foundation is awaiting restoration
How many times do we have to go to the alter before you fix us ?
Have you allowed him to have a hand on us
When repentance isnt enough
Confessions of the tongue, No!
Too weak so hearts speak what we cant utter
Are there any more ways I can be broken so he can see all of me
I surrender
Rings on the table
My finger is still imprinted
I'm waking up shaking from the heartbreak
I thought I gave myself away.
No compassion
No empathy
The refigerator is empty
And COLD
Letting go of the handle
No matter how many times we've Been to the alter
Why are we still broken?
Sing praises
Shouting loud
Being uplifted and only He can see
Did someone brush his calling off of me by a casually touch?
When will love arise again ?
I've sacrificed more than I wanted to
This Foundation is awaiting restoration
How many times do we have to go to the alter before you fix us ?
Have you allowed him to have a hand on us
When repentance isnt enough
Confessions of the tongue, No!
Too weak so hearts speak what we cant utter
Are there any more ways I can be broken so he can see all of me
I surrender
Rings on the table
My finger is still imprinted
I'm waking up shaking from the heartbreak
I thought I gave myself away.
