I just want to be heard
A little girl in the world
With powerful thoughts
And no one pays attentions
I just want to be heard
It's like I have duck tape on my mouth
I scream and shout
But get no response
I just want to be heard
I talk and talk
But it's like nothing is coming out
No one ever bothers to listen
I just want to be heard
It's like I'm worthless
What I say has no meaning to it
I get shut down every time I try to talk
I just want to be heard
Somebody please listen
I just need one person that's it
To give me a chance to express myself
I just want to be heard

I feel this way sometimes. It used to be worse before I started screaming more. But its when no one is listening (ie even hearing, really), that I write the most.
It's therapeutic...and no can interrupt me. So, I hear you.
