Wake Pharaohs from their tombs to cross our Nile                                                 
Hips shift like tectonic plates        
under the ocean,        
sail Titanic like dreams        
back to the surface                              
                             
Poets Erupt volcanic cheer        
spitting liquid fire into the crowd                 
Voices too powerful to be extinguished

Iridescent in their sweat & passion    
like pearls emerging from the coral                     
Like diamonds forming under the pressure                                                       
heat set a fire with their soles dancing with their souls                   
Fluid arms melting icebergs                           
like pterodactyls out of the Ice age                
to spread their wings Arabesque            
& break the ceiling to show the world...  
there can be blue sky again!           
                  
metal tap shoes, like ice picks,  
into cold hearts, works of art                                 
                                         
Dancing diamonds ,
playing prodigies ,
preaching poetry
in every corner of the stage
to fill voids and struggle
