Lonely Road
Lonely Road
Rows of empty trees line the lonely road
No leaves fall onto a ground that is cold
Deep pain runs rampantly through my veins
Drops on the ground sometimes like cold rain
Dark memories ransack my brain halls
The outside world saturate through my walls
Drooping flowers die upon the lonely road
No sun gets through the dark to let them grow
Surrounded by broken hearts never to mend
Love synapses that I can never send
Stars fall dead to the frozen ground
They pass away without a dramatic sound
Rows of empty trees line the lonely road
No leaves fall onto a ground that is cold
Deep pain runs rampantly through my veins
Drops on the ground sometimes like cold rain
Dark memories ransack my brain halls
The outside world saturate through my walls
Drooping flowers die upon the lonely road
No sun gets through the dark to let them grow
Surrounded by broken hearts never to mend
Love synapses that I can never send
Stars fall dead to the frozen ground
They pass away without a dramatic sound
