Who Knew
She walked next to him
Her shoes barely making a sound
As the wind blew her hair all over her face
Left to right, up and down
Who knew that she would be his?
The committment that they had
The passion filled nights and the long kisses that they shared
Moments that left her utterly breathless
His lady, his woman, his forever soulmate
Who knew that they could love so deep?
Or grow to be as one not two
Finishing sentences of the other, cuddling together in their sleep
She looked at her man, her best friend
God had given her the desires of her heart
Who knew that he could be any more perfect than he was for her?
From beginning to end, from finish to start.
