There is sunlight in your smile,
Yet sadness in your eyes,
You loved me for awhile,
Or was it all just lies?

Perhaps you love me still,
Its hard for me to tell,
It’s sapping me of will,
When on your love I dwell.

Forever, our love would last,
Is what we promised each other,
But that was in the past,
