Expectant for applause, only to
Pause.
Pacing, panting, pleading
Perfectly.
Still, awaiting the curtains
Closed.
Cold eyes performing acrobatics
Deadly.
Waiting to steal the story of
Glory.
Glorifying, greedy, gluttonous
Stares.
