Of boys and men
All men are boys,
Deep down in their heart,
They crave adventure and fun,
The pursuit of wild art.
All men are boys,
All the way to the core,
We walk around with much gusto,
Even when all is sore.
All men are boys,
Through our whole soul,
We hope no one can see,
Past our encompassing whole.
All men are boys,
We live with great fears,
That the rest of the world,
Might see our torrent of tears.
All men are boys,
This much I know,
We spend our whole life,
Not letting weakness show.
All men are boys,
Unsure and untested,
But simply to be loved,
Is all that’s requested.
Deep down in their heart,
They crave adventure and fun,
The pursuit of wild art.
All men are boys,
All the way to the core,
We walk around with much gusto,
Even when all is sore.
All men are boys,
Through our whole soul,
We hope no one can see,
Past our encompassing whole.
All men are boys,
We live with great fears,
That the rest of the world,
Might see our torrent of tears.
All men are boys,
This much I know,
We spend our whole life,
Not letting weakness show.
All men are boys,
Unsure and untested,
But simply to be loved,
Is all that’s requested.
