Religon
Yes i love the lord……...
Confused about the bible
I just can’t take it no more
All these rules and regulations
Claiming come as you are
But when i’m absent you talk about me
Lord i’m sick of this world
I worship in place where i don’t fit in
So worried I’ll be exposed because of my sin
Church doesn’t feel the same
Everyone fighting for the spotlight
Impressing the pastor for fame
I just don’t understand this
I’m suppose to live in poverty
While the pastors living rich
How do i follow all the rules and still end up at the bottom
Steady giving my donation
But the church i cannot call on
Instead i have to run down to 12th and Vilet
Standing in long lines just so my family can eat
We don’t even baptize our people in water
But wonder why we have demons all over the alter
Let me first state,my frustration is not with God
But religion’s becoming fake
And Pastor’s becoming fraud
Do you see why God hasn’t come back for his people
Were so messed
Running in church acting like we are see-through
Let’s all just stop playing Religion
And live by his word before we see his image

I absolutely loved this poem. I can really see where your heart is concerning the church and the wicked things that has become common in church culture. It also seems like you have experience most of these things from first hand experience. If this is currently still a problem in your church then I would encourage you to bring these issues to the church leadership about what your seeing and address it (even if the issue is the church leadership). Make sure to have a scriptural basis for your concern and if the church leadership is truly serving the Lord then they will repent and correct their ways. However, if they don't and continue in wickedness then you need to find yourself another church to go to. I would again stress to you to make sure you have a biblical basis for your action and not based off of feelings.

This is a clear state of the church in most parts of the world. the pastors are riding private jets and members can hardly feed. In my country, universities owned by churches is the new rave. Unfortunately though, 70% of church members can't afford these schools- these schools they built with their many years of tithes and offering. The absolutely ridiculous part is pastors now going about with armed security personnel.....
we are all doomed for the dark hole if we don't replace religion with spirituality .
