Blasphemy
I tire of life labeled as a miracle,
of the Miracle of Childbirth
Reproduction is NOT miraculous
It's at the other end of the scale
It's downright commonplace
It happens every day
In every hospital
In every city
In every village
In every culture
In every species
against all odds
In fact, it is so anti-miracle
that it can happen by ACCIDENT
No hand of God reaching down
to intervene occasionally
leaving no other explanation
for how it occurred
Even "rare" cases are just
mathematically improbable
but still possible
and still happen somewhere
We're not special
We just live on a crowded world
were God is too busy
to act in our best interest
Or even take credit
for it later
