The Wall Between The Empty Room

What did she know in between?
She only loved the chase and never let it end
Life and death, she stood on the bridge
Freedom and hostage, she held the cage
What did she want in between?

Behind her eyes, there were a lot of glosses
Empty and dull in between her irises
Smiles, a golden worth, teeth are gritting
She crumbled into pieces between those grips
Tell me, what did she like to be in between?

She had many choices but pretended to be deaf
She liked books but never leaf
She wanted to go on but she stayed still
And between the best and worst worlds she made a deal
Enlighten me, what did she know in between?

She never said the truth but never told a lie
She had all the emotions but she never had a cry
She built a wall to be alone but she stood in between
She wanted to die but she just scarred her skin
Asking, how much pleasure to be in between?

She said there’s a wall between the empty room
She didn’t like to begin and face the ending soon
She told me, every side is dull but vividly painted
She wanted to change but she just waited
She explained the words and suddenly left me in fin
And that is how she left me puzzled in between.
