Lost In One Season
I am forever lost in the winter season
Trapped in the cold without reason
Snow covered heart unable to thaw
Blocked out everyone with an inner wall
Icicle fingers wrapped around my mind
Freezing reason from a frosted behind
Cold hearted night wasting my eyes
In between folklore and reality dies
There is nothing underneath that is there
The same resides coldly in the daylight air
To break free from this moodiness I can never do
Without reflections of tenderness from you
So cover me with a snowbank and leave me be
Or sink me lightly into a lonely icy sea
