“Life’s Steps”

Every step I ever sit on makes me think of you.  
Got my own steps to sit on now.  
Enjoying my steps.  
Whether I’m sitting, or walking on them steps.  
I know you’ll be there like you always said you would.  
Thank you for telling me about the steps.  
How to be prepared to walk them confidently with my head held high.  
No one can walk them for me.  
I’ll tell my boys about the steps.  
One day they will sit on them just like you and I did.
