Enclosure
Enclosure
My depression has become a self-contained enclosure
It is something from which I cannot break free
My feelings come over me in swelling waves
I am like a fish caught in an underwater sea
My dark room is my only sanctuary left
I retreat to it nightly for my protection
If a broken heart is a fevered disease
Then you are my incurable infection
I sink within myself as my only companion
No one else wants to be by my side
I always hurt myself with stupidity
Offering my love but it is always denied
My depression has become a self-contained enclosure
There is only one way out of it that I can see
Instead of waiting for death to come
I must fulfill my own destiny
My depression has become a self-contained enclosure
It is something from which I cannot break free
My feelings come over me in swelling waves
I am like a fish caught in an underwater sea
My dark room is my only sanctuary left
I retreat to it nightly for my protection
If a broken heart is a fevered disease
Then you are my incurable infection
I sink within myself as my only companion
No one else wants to be by my side
I always hurt myself with stupidity
Offering my love but it is always denied
My depression has become a self-contained enclosure
There is only one way out of it that I can see
Instead of waiting for death to come
I must fulfill my own destiny
