What I First Saw
I saw it when we first met
Eyes that melt with welcome gaze
A handshake I could not forget
Zeal that set my heart ablaze
The tender empathy he showed
Disarming my vulnerability
Bandaged my sad heart when it flowed
Bleeding out from what was a lonely reality
So now do you see when I say
He seemed so very good for me
And now that I've gotten my way
I know he really is so yummy!

True love is based off of how a person treats us and makes us feel. Afterwards, their physical appearance and thus our sexual attraction to them completes the equation.

Thank you! Yes, I didn't first "see" his smoking hot bod... oddly enough. I was in a funny place where that didn't move me like his sweetness could. I was living a stressed out, lonely life, feeling rejected and ignored by those whose approval and company I had craved.
He took my mind out of that place, but it was after marriage, actually, when the passion really came into full bloom.
