I knew I'd love her
For 90 summers.
Through the storms
In her darting eyes
Through the tornadoes
Swirling in her chambered heart.
Through the chills on
A brilliant, bright day.
I knew I'd love her
When she saw this boy
And stared back
And smiled sunshine
For 90 summers.

Like poems which are broken into seasons - seems to give them greater depth & resonance.
