Bed of depression
I lay down on a mattress
A blanket of depression draping over me
My head resting on a pillow of cement
My eyes leak
As I draw the blanket around me
I shut my eyes
And forget the world
I hold myself in that moment
Allowing myself to be vulnerable
I can think in the silence
The flood gates open
The thoughts rush in
Drowning me
A blanket of depression draping over me
My head resting on a pillow of cement
My eyes leak
As I draw the blanket around me
I shut my eyes
And forget the world
I hold myself in that moment
Allowing myself to be vulnerable
I can think in the silence
The flood gates open
The thoughts rush in
Drowning me
