Two first graders are in class ...  
A boy calls a girl a bitch...  
He used it in the proper urban context...  
She knew it shouldn't have been said but she still wanted an explanation...
She reads above her grade level , he has trouble spelling /writing his name

17 million spent on a charter school...  
It's about to close after four years due to poor testing scores ...  
Not one word from the community it serves...  
Footnote:    When food's offered to entice folks to come out...
    Standing room only...
                      Parent association meetings ... eleven parents present  
                      Student body ... over six hundred fifteen

Started a small business in part to instill in a children that she can make   her own way in this world...  
Her only limits will be the one's she places on herself... 
   
In general conversation, this mindset was expressed ...  
The question was asked," Why can't she just go and get a good job like everyone else"?

Witnessed several adults having trouble opening a combination lock...  
Trouble seemed to be a combination of :  
Remembering the three numbers needed and the order in they which  
they should be dialed...  
These same folks drive and have children...  
 That makes me uncomfortable on both counts...

I received a text asking how much money would be taken out from the upcoming  thousand dollar  pay out...  
I replied ,"Its pro-rated and taxed at forty percent"...  
They replied," What's pro-rated and how much is forty percent of a thousand...

Overheard a conversation between two professional,  educated men...  
First man:  
I just received an e-mail saying my photo was viewed online and they wanted to know if I'd be willing to let them use it in a few ads...  
I could make up to 600,000 dollars...
Second man:
That's something to concern...
I'd check out the site and see what happens...  
   
Who in their right mind answers these ads ...
