Lost friend or lover the companionship a pet can give. A dear departed relative
Grief
The grief that sketches your world all grey
the nagging loss that reappeared
the cloud that floats into your day
for you It has no resting place
an ache within your hearts frail walls
for no good reason
you will cry and you will caterwaul
a handkerchief to wave goodby
forever memories will have their say
dimensions never far ever near
a sepia of sadness fading
year by year and tear by tear

I've lost 3 dogs and 3 cats not gonna mention all the human friends lost
