Unheeded Premonition
Where did it all go wrong?
About the time her hand brushed mine
With purpose and intensity
Such an electric convergence
In the arc of bounding energy
Occurred a transmission
Of all events to come
A future set for checkered past
Every look, every touch
All the fights and laments
Played out like a movie scene
Etched delicately in memory
The convoluted plot unfurled
No secrets left unexposed
I saw the end within her eyes
I guess I should have known
*For the "Take a walk with me...fellas" competition*

Ah man, I hate when I ignore a "feeling" like that. This is brilliant, Zach! It's true what they say...the heart wants what it wants. Or maybe sometimes it's a little lower than the heart. But we will ignore that voice.
