Hollow Reflections
It's not the loneliness that scares me
It's the silence.
The emptiness.
The Hollow echo of my soul,
reverberating off the walls
with my every stifled breath.
It's the reflection I avoid in the mirror each morning
And the gaze that penetrates the devouring darkness of the night
Just to remind me
It's still there.
