I’m Creator

The sun rises to provide light over the land,
bringing a smile to the faces of all who stand.
The power of life is in my hand.
What you’re about to witness will surely be grand.

You stare into a mirror and feel empty inside.
On the other side, a boy wants you to be his bride.
Your wedding will be beautiful; I have no reason to lie.
I create what I see and now I’m your eyes.

Water fills the lakes to provide you with drink.
I close my eyes for a second, I need to blink.
Fish fill the lakes and before you can speak I wink.
Now trees cover the land, I didn’t even have to think.

A baby is born, the miracle of life.
Life is beautiful; I don’t always use a knife.
You kiss your partner goodnight, proud to call her your wife.
What I create is beautiful; there is no need for strife.
You hold the hand of the person you love,
whom you created from up above.
You close your eyes to enter the night.
Awake in the morning, your life is right.

Plants grow to sustain the planets life.
You weren’t put here just to be shown the knife.
The sky is blue and the clouds are white.
Creation has reached its maximum height.

I’m invisible to the eye and unknown to the active mind.
Focus on your unconscious self then you won’t be so blind.
If you seek the truth, the truth you shall find,
but you will blow me off because you’re disinclined.

I see all and know all, I contain the power.
I created your entire species in an hour.
Please don’t be bitter at me and sour.
Instead, bask in the sun’s rays and pick yourself a flower.

You cuss me out when you don’t get your way.
If you looked inside yourself, you would see through the gray
And realize that I’m inside of you every day.
So, the next time you look at the bay,
